Working hard or hardly working?
Day two of the Legislative Session is finished just as it started: nothing happened. No committee meetings, no floor session, nothing. The explanation is fairly common: the Legislative Counsel Bureau is busy getting bills ready, committees are getting set up, etc., though these are things that could and should have been done in anticipation. But I was fine with it on a practical level because it allowed me to get ahead on my reading during the day. And it looks like we’ll start in earnest tomorrow.
